Meet Andrea May

Hello! I’m Andrea, the founder of May Bookkeeping, LLC.

I started my bookkeeping career in Arizona with one of the largest, family-owned dairy farms in the United States. I left the dairy in 2012 and started working on a freelance basis while raising my two small children. In 2018, when I moved back to my roots in South Florida, I was ready to start my own firm. I teamed up with some amazingly talented bookkeepers so I could explore more business growth opportunities. The goal was to begin offering additional support services (see full list here) to the creative entrepreneurs I meet and address as many of their needs as possible.

Prior to bookkeeping, I was a commercial real estate landlord agent for 9 years. In this role, I utilized my love for numbers, sharp attention to detail, and my ability to problem solve to lease a 2 million square foot Class A/B building portfolio. I quickly realized I loved working with both numbers AND creative people!

I graduated with a Master’s degree from the University of Florida (Go Gators!), and in my free time I love running, rock climbing, relaxing at the beach, and hanging out with my family and children.
